COVID-19 is a global pandemic, the likes of which the world has not experienced in the past 100 years. It is with great disappointment that the Triple Tree Aerodrome Board of Directors has decided to cancel the 2020 Joe Nall.
Triple Tree has a social and moral responsibility to provide a safe event for our volunteers, pilots, spectators, vendors, and residents in our community. We want to do our part to help mitigate this global crisis, and proceeding to have the 2020 Joe Nall with thousands of guests from across the world would not be prudent. Especially after being forced to cancel the event due to weather in 2018, we had hoped that the threat of COVID-19 and state and federal guidelines would be alleviated so we could proceed safely. Unfortunately, this is not likely.
Like you, Triple Tree is not immune to the global financial implications of this crisis. However, we will be providing each of our participants with a full refund for the 2020 Joe Nall. We eagerly await our future events, including Nall in the Fall, The Triple Tree Fly-In, and Heli Extravaganza, where we can return to our home, the Triple Tree Aerodrome, stronger and more united than ever.
During my tenure as our Executive Director, I have seen amazing things happen and learned of the “Spirit of Triple Tree.” We are all united by one common thread: a passion for aviation. Together, we have faced challenging times, and together we will overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thank you for your continued support of our dream. Please visit our website, www.tta.aero, or approved social media outlets for the latest updates.
